Appointment Time
In order to give you the most high-quality treatment, a thorough assessment by one of our university-trained therapists must be performed. The initial assessment usually takes anywhere from 20 to 50 minutes and will include a thorough evaluation and treatment if time permits. Following the assessment, treatment appointments will last about 20 minutes. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes early for your initial assessment in order to fill out our questionnaire.
What to Wear
Your therapist will study your movement patterns; therefore, we ask that you wear something comfortable that you can move around and be physically active in. If it is required to see your injured area directly, we provide clean shorts or gowns for you to change into.
What to Bring
All you need for your appointment is your health card number (private physical therapy is not covered by Sask. Health, but other offices we may need to communicate with register you by that number) and any notes you need in order to fill out a simple medical questionnaire. If you have copies of any imaging you have obtained regarding your injury, our therapist would like to look at those as well.
Medical Insurance
Payment for service is due at the time of appointment. We happily provide you with all the necessary paperwork for you to submit a claim with your insurance company for reimbursement. This allows us to provide you with the highest quality services at competitive prices.
Follow-up Appointments
Treatment plans vary from a couple of visits to spanning over several weeks. You will be treated in the clinic, and a individualized home exercise program will be provided to you to optimize your rehabilitation. Any appointment regarding the same injury will be considered a follow-up appointment within one year.
Virtual Assistant
We utilize a virtual assistant in some of our clinics. When you walk in the clinic, you may speak with someone located in our head office by camera and telephone. All you have to do is speak into the phone, and our virtual assistant will guide you through the rest.
